The Kurdistan Women's Communities (KJK) called for broad diplomatic, political, and societal action to protect Shengal and secure recognition of its Autonomous Administration, warning of the dangers of "new genocidal schemes" that may target the region.

In a statement released on Monday, the KJK asserted that the world is experiencing an unprecedented period of "crisis and chaos" since World War I, noting that the "nation-state system" is no longer viable and that the accelerating collapse of the old international order reflects the depth of the structural crisis.

The statement indicated that the Middle East, particularly Kurdistan, which is divided into four parts, has become the epicenter of a third world war as a result of the exclusionary policies of the region's nation-states. It continued: "The Middle East is passing through a critical juncture. It must either adopt a democratic solution in accordance with the vision put forth by the leader Abdullah Ocalan and develop radical solutions to its problems, or it will continue its current policies of denial and be condemned to all forms of destruction."

The statement referred to the "second conspiracy of February 15," which began with the attack on Rojava, explaining that this conspiracy continues today through a plan targeting Shengal, deeming that any military operation or attempt to end the region's Autonomous administration would be tantamount to a second ISIS attack on the Yazidis.

"The attacks on Shengal constitute genocide against women, Kurds, and religious beliefs"

The statement emphasized that Shengal represents "a symbol for women worldwide and for oppressed peoples," and that any further aggression against it would amount to "genocide against women, Kurds, and religious beliefs."

The Kurdistan Women's Communities called on the Iraqi government not to be drawn into the machinations of "conspiratorial forces" seeking to instigate internal conflict among the Kurds. It stressed the necessity of adopting a strategic peace with the Kurdish people and the Yazidi community, and asserted that any cooperation with the plan proposed by the Turkish Foreign Minister would constitute a "usurpation of the will of the Iraqi people."

The KJK emphasized that the only way to avoid chaos is to preserve the Kurdish presence within the Iraqi constitutional system and to officially recognize the Autonomous Administration of Shengal.

The statement appealed to the Kurdish women and people to confront potential attacks on Shengal in the same manner as they confronted attacks on Rojava, affirming that Kurds and women "will no longer accept policies of annihilation, extermination, or the stripping of their legal status." It added, "No solution can be achieved outside the slogan 'Freedom or Freedom.' We will not allow the enslavement imposed on Kurdish women to be repeated, nor will we allow occupation to become the fate of our land."

The organization also called on all women's organizations and democratic and leftist groups to strengthen solidarity with the women and people of Shengal and to prevent any recurrence of genocide.

In closing, the Kurdistan Women's Community called on all political and societal forces to take action at the diplomatic, political, and defense levels to ensure the recognition and protection of the Autonomous Administration in Shengal, asserting that "the Kurdish people's resistance has proven its success in the past and will succeed again."
