Kidnapping, cutting and burning of trees in occupied Afrin

A local source from occupied Afrin reported that Turkish occupation intelligence and “civilian police” mercenaries had kidnapped citizens; The daughter of Muhammad Rasho (58 years old) and her husband, Muhammad Rashid Rasho (60 years old), from the city of Janders, and Muhammad Ali Abdo Khalil (40 years old), from the village of Kafr Safra.

The source indicated that they were taken to an unknown destination, while the mercenaries demanded sums of money from their families in exchange for their release.

In the context, and as part of the processes of demographic change and nature annihilation, the Turkish occupation mercenaries burned “Al-Amshat”, under direct orders from the Turkish occupation intelligence, and cut down hundreds of forest trees, in the village of Yakhour in the city of Mobata, to sell them in the markets of the occupied city of Afrin.

A source from Afrin stated that the burning and cutting of trees by mercenaries has increased significantly in the recent period, with the approach of winter.

This is the tip of the iceberg of the ongoing crimes of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries against the remaining indigenous residents of occupied Afrin, to tighten the noose on them and displace them, and against its nature, to change its demographics.
