The President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Masoud Barzani, strongly condemned on Tuesday the attack that targeted the village of Zarkazi in Hewlêr Governorate in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, which resulted in the death of civilians due to an Iranian drone strike.

Barzani described the incident as "the ultimate act of criminality and injustice," emphasizing that "targeting innocent civilians is neither courageous nor honorable," and expressing his "deepest condolences to the families of the two martyrs."
