The Education Authority of the Democratic Autonomous Administration recently issued a statement regarding an agreement with the Damascus authorities regarding the examination process for middle school students based on the curriculum of the former Syrian regime. The statement read:

"Based on our shared responsibility to support the educational process and guarantee the rights of students in all Syrian regions, and based on the principles of cooperation and integration between educational institutions, and after holding several meetings on June 5-6, 2025, the Education Authority in North and East Syria and the Syrian Ministry of Education reached an agreement on the following procedures to ensure the smooth running of the examination process in a manner that serves the interests of students and their educational future."

Joint Agreement Terms:

1. Postponing exams for middle school students from June 14, 2025, to June 21, 2025.

2. Forming temporary joint committees to oversee the administration of the exam process in the regions of North and East Syria, ensuring integrity and professionalism in the implementation of exams.

3. Opening temporary joint exam registration centers to receive students from various regions and facilitating their registration procedures in accordance with approved educational standards.

4. Registration will begin from June 11, 2025, to June 17, 2025.

5. Facilitating the transfer of registration for students registered outside the regions of North and East Syria, ensuring their continued right to take exams without hindrance.

6- Examinations will be held in six major cities across five provinces: Qamishli, Hasakah, Raqqa, Deir ez-Zor, Tabqa, and Kobani (Sarrin), in a manner that accommodates logistical conditions and ensures easy access for students.

This statement emphasizes our commitment to providing a stable and safe educational environment for all Syrian students and our commitment to working together to enhance the educational process in various regions.
