DAA curriculum exam dates established independent of previous regime exams postponement

The Education Authority of the North and East Syria Democratic Autonomous Administration confirmed that the examination process for certificates based on the Autonomous Administration curriculum will proceed as per the established dates and will not be affected by the postponement of the exams based on the previous Syrian regime's curriculum.

The Authority has just announced that it agreed with the Damascus authorities on the procedure for reviewing the former Syrian regime's curriculum. It was agreed to postpone the preparatory certificate exams for students from June 14, 2025, to June 21, 2025. This step comes within the coordination between the two sides to reach the smooth operation of the educational process.

As for the exam date of the Democratic Autonomous Administration curriculum, Authority officials confirmed that the examination process of certificates based on the Autonomous Administration's curriculum will continue according to plan and will not be affected by the postponement of the exams based on the former Syrian regime's curriculum. The self-administration curriculum exams for the preparatory certificate will be held on June 14, and the secondary school exams will be on June 15, the authority said.
