"Join Global Campaign for Physical Freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan"

Today, the Syrian Lawyers Initiative to defend leader Abdullah Ocalan in Shahba made a statement regarding the recent decision of the fascist Turkish authorities banning leader Abdullah Ocalan from meeting with his lawyer for another 6 months.

The statement was read in the village of Tal Susin in the town of Al-Hadath in the Canton of Afrin and Shahba, by lawyer Roshin Haddo and member of the teachers' union, Abdul Rahman Muhammad.

The statement pointed out that the fascist Turkish government continues to adopt a system of torture and extermination against leader Abdullah Ocalan, and imposes successive "disciplinary sanctions", the latest of which is a ban on the leader from meeting with his lawyer for another 6 months.

The statement pointed out that the goal of the Turkish occupation state is to deprive the leader Abdullah Ocalan of the law of "the right to hope", and pressure him to make concessions.

The initiative called on Kurdistan people across Kurdistan and the world to join the International Campaign for the Freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan, and international and human rights organizations, the United Nations Health Authority and the Committee against Torture to abide by their moral and legal responsibilities and put an end to the system of torture and extermination.
