Jinwar village celebrates with leader Ocalan's birth; founding YPJ

The administration of Jinwar village, in the city of al-Darbasiyah, organized a celebration marking the birth of Leader Abdullah Ocalan and the founding of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ), alongside the anniversary of the establishment of the Children's Commune in Jinwar. The event was attended by dozens of women from al- Jazira canton, as well as members of civil society institutions, local councils, and the Internal Security Forces.

The event commenced with a minute of silence, followed by a speech delivered by Sheraza Osman, a member of the Academy of Jineolojî. In her address, she offered congratulations on the occasion and emphasized that this anniversary carries profound significance regarding freedom and the future of children.

She further noted that these occasions serve as milestones for renewing one's commitment to the values ​​of a democratic society and for working toward a future characterized by greater stability and dignity.

The celebration featured artistic performances presented by the village's children, as well as vocal performances and traditional *Dabke* dances performed by artistic troupes from Jinwar village and the Center for Culture and Art in al-Darbasiyah, all met with enthusiastic engagement from the audience.

The event concluded with rounds of *Dabke* dancing, performed to the rhythm of traditional folk and revolutionary songs, amidst a festive atmosphere.
