Jel Agha gets ready to welcome Newroz

The Events Committee in the city of Jel Agha has begun decorating the squares, roundabouts and entrances to the city, in preparation for welcoming Newroz.

As part of the ongoing preparations for Newroz, which falls on March 21st, the Newroz Events Committee in the city of Jel Agha began decorating the city entrance, the main street, Martyr Masoum Square, and Women's Square last night.

The streets and areas covered by the decorations were adorned with flags, banners, and symbols celebrating Newroz for the Kurdish people and other peoples, in addition to ribbons bearing the flags and symbols of the Kongra Star, the People's Protection Units (YPG), and the Women's Protection Units (YPJ), along with images of leader Abdullah Ocalan and flags of the Martyrs' Families Council, all part of the preparations for commemorating the occasion.

This initiative is part of a series of events and activities organized annually in the city to celebrate Newroz, and the preparations and events will continue for the next four days.
