Israeli reinforcements, shooting in Quneitra countryside

The Israeli forces opened fire on civilians in the Quneitra countryside, in coincidence with the deployment of new military reinforcements to their positions in the area.

The Israeli forces opened fire on Thursday on a number of civilians near the village of al-Ashah in the southern countryside of Quneitra as they were gathering mushrooms in the area, in an attempt to force them to leave, without injuries being reported.

On Wednesday, an Israeli force attacked children and women while they were gathering mushrooms in the area between the villages of Adnaniyah and Rwaihina in the northern countryside of Quneitra, firing smoke grenades at them to disperse them.

In the same context, Israeli forces continued to reinforce their military positions in Tel al-Ahmar al-Gharbi in the southern countryside of Quneitra where they are stationed, as they erected earthen berms and fortified existing military posts.

These violations come amid repeated movements of Israeli forces in various areas of southern Syria, without any response or explanation from the government.
