An Israeli army patrol, consisting of several military vehicles, entered the vicinity of the village of Saida al-Golan in the southern countryside of Quneitra on Monday. The patrol moved near the border strip, in coincidence with Israeli reconnaissance aircrafts hovering over the area.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the incursion was not accompanied by raids or arrests of civilians, but residents remained on edge.

This comes amid repeated incursions by Israeli forces in areas of the southern countryside of Quneitra.

On Sunday, the Syrian Observatory also reported an incursion by an Israeli patrol of three vehicles into the village of Saida al-Hanout in the same region, without any clashes being recorded.
