Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reviewed today the details of a "military operation" carried out by special Israeli forces in Syria, and the newspaper noted that the violent Israeli bombing of Syria coincided with an Israeli army landing operation on Syrian territory, "and clashing with a group of soldiers and capturing two Iranian figures."

During the operation that infiltrated Syria, the Israeli army also confiscated files and documents from a building "for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, and destroyed a building for scientific research," according to Channel 14 and Haaretz.

These sources stated that the Israeli special forces targeted a scientific research center affiliated with the Damascus government forces, where military industries - high technology - are being developed with Iranian assistance.

The official agency affiliated with the Damascus government reported that 18 people were killed and 43 others were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a number of sites around the city of Masyaf in the Hama countryside on September 9.
