Israeli incursion into Quneitra countryside

Israeli forces intruded into the Quneitra countryside from the western Tal al-Ahmar axis, conducting search and combing operations, and setting up a temporary checkpoint in eastern Samdaniya.

Today, the Quneitra countryside witnessed an incursion by Israeli forces from the western Tal al-Ahmar axis toward the villages of Kudna and Ain Ziwan. This included gunfire, the targeting of motorcycles, and the search of several civilian homes. No casualties or arrests have been reported so far.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Israeli forces had earlier entered the abandoned Qaws al-Nabaa brigade southwest of Quneitra, where they conducted a combing and search operation that lasted for about an hour before withdrawing toward the Quneitra Governorate building.

The Syrian Observatory noted that an Israeli force consisting of several vehicles and personnel set up a temporary checkpoint in the eastern village of al-Samadaniyya, sparking tension and fear among residents, amid fears of a new security escalation in the area.
