Israeli incursion, house raids in Quneitra countryside

The SOHR reported that Jabata al-Khashab in Quneitra countryside experienced an incursion by a unit of the Israeli army after midnight, as part of continued violations of Syrian sovereignty.

The SOHR stated that an Israeli military patrol entered the town around 1:00 a.m., raiding the house of an employee at a government TV channel. The patrol searched the house and conducted an internal investigation, with no confirmed reports of arrests. The house is located approximately 500 meters from the disengagement line.

The force then moved further into the town, heading toward the main square, before spreading into the Khalid ibn al-Walid mosque, still under construction, causing tension and concern among residents.

The SOHR noted that the force conducted another raid targeting a house adjacent to the mosque, which was also searched, amid a clear show of force and alert in the area.

The operation lasted over an hour before the Israeli force withdrew toward a nearby military base, with no clashes reported. The objectives of this incursion remain unclear.

In a related development, the SOHR documented the entry of four Israeli military vehicles into the city of Salam in Quneitra countryside, marking a new incursion into Syrian territory.
