On Tuesday night, the outskirts of a number of towns in the Yarmouk Basin area of western Daraa came under artillery fire by Israeli forces.

The shelling targeted the outskirts of Abidin and the Wadi Koya area, where several artillery shells landed around the two locations, causing a state of tension in the area.

The bombardment did not result in any human or material losses, though fear spread among residents as the shells fell near residential areas.

This shelling comes as part of the repeated escalation by Israeli forces in western Daraa, particularly in the Yarmouk Basin area.

In a related development, an Israeli patrol advanced at dawn today from the entrance of the town of Bir Ajam toward Bariqa in the Quneitra countryside. The patrol, consisting of two Hilux and Hummer vehicles, stopped briefly in the Bir al-Kabbas area before withdrawing without carrying out any further actions.
