Israeli forces shell outskirts of Beit Jinn in Damascus Countryside

Israeli forces carried out new artillery shelling targeting the outskirts of Beit Jinn Farm in the western Damascus countryside, following earlier shelling of the hill and agricultural areas.

Israeli forces today shelled the outskirts of Beit Jinn Farm in the western Damascus countryside with artillery rounds, hours after shelling Bat al-Warda Hill near the town with several rounds.

The latest shelling targeted areas on the outskirts of Beit Jinn Farm, with no reports of casualties so far.

Earlier, Israeli forces fired an artillery shell at agricultural land west of Beit Jinn, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. No casualties were reported.

In the Daraa countryside, Israeli forces opened heavy machine-gun fire toward residential areas in the village of Maariya after midnight on Thursday-Friday, amid intensive drone flights over the area. No injuries were reported.

The developments come amid continued Israeli shelling, gunfire and military movements inside Syrian territory, particularly in Daraa and Quneitra provinces and the western Damascus countryside.
