Israeli forces shelled Tal Harboun, west of Beit Jinn town in the Damascus countryside, with four artillery rounds on Sunday, while an infantry force advanced into the Joura al-Louz area on the outskirts of the town, according to a security source.

The developments came in an area that has witnessed similar military movements in recent days, including incursions by Israeli forces and attacks targeting the outskirts of towns and villages in the Mount Hermon (Jabal al-Sheikh) area, keeping the region in a state of continued tension.

Earlier today, ANHA agency published a report on Israeli incursions and attacks in the area, covering the latest field developments and movements in the western Damascus countryside, particularly around Beit Jinn.

Tal Harboun is located in the vicinity of Mount Hermon in the western Damascus countryside. The hill and its surrounding area have been subject to shelling and attacks in previous years, making any military movement there significant for the surrounding area.

By the time of publication, there were no reports of casualties or damage resulting from the shelling and incursion, while no official comment had been issued regarding the latest developments.
