The countryside of Quneitra and Daraa witnessed five Israeli ground incursions today, some involving the establishment of checkpoints and searches of passersby and homes. The incursions coincided with heavy Israeli reconnaissance flights over the capital, Damascus, and various areas of Daraa province.

In the Quneitra countryside, an Israeli force consisting of six vehicles advanced toward the village of Razaniyah. Another force, comprising eight vehicles, set up a checkpoint in Eastern Samdaniyah in the central Quneitra countryside and searched passersby. No information was available regarding arrests.

Israeli forces also advanced into the village of al-Ajraf, where they searched homes. Meanwhile, a military convoy consisting of six vehicles moved from the Tal Abu al-Ghaithar gate toward the western part of al-Hanout Farm, passing through the Tank area before taking a road used by United Nations forces toward Ain Bahta. The convoy eventually reached an area west of Abu Rajm Farm.

In the western Daraa countryside, three Israeli military vehicles advanced into Wadi al-Raqad, near the outskirts of the village of Jamla.

Four Israeli reconnaissance aircraft were also spotted flying over Damascus, alongside other aircraft over the city of Inkhil and the towns of Nawa, Busra al-Harir, al-Shajara, Izra, al-Sanamayn and Sheikh Maskin, as well as areas in the northern Daraa countryside. Other aircraft headed east over the city of al-Hirak.

In a separate movement, Israeli vehicles advanced from the Hamidiyah base toward the village of al-Hurriya and its surrounding wooded area in the northern Quneitra countryside. The movement coincided with heavy flights by camera-equipped drones over residents' homes.
