In the village of Ma‘riya in the Yarmouk Basin area of western Daraa countryside, an Israeli military force advanced and established a checkpoint on the eastern side of the village, stopping and searching passersby, while another force moved toward the villages of Kuwaya and Abidin.

In Quneitra countryside, an Israeli patrol composed of five military vehicles entered the village of Eastern Samdaniya, where it set up a checkpoint to search passersby, with soldiers deployed around the area and drones flying overhead.

Since the fall of the Baath regime on December 8, 2024, Israeli intervention in Syrian territories has been escalating, including ground incursions into border villages in Daraa, Quneitra, and Damascus countryside, in addition to repeated airstrikes.
