Israel targets sites of Damascus forces in Daraa and Quneitra

This morning, Tal al-Jaybah, near the city of Nawa in the Daraa countryside, was subjected to an Israeli bombardment with 6 rocket shells, while the anti-aircraft guns of the Damascus government forces stationed in the hill attempted to confront an Israeli drone flying in the airspace of the area following the bombing, without any information being received about any casualties, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

And an explosion sounded at a military site near the village of Al-Rafid in the Quneitra countryside, coinciding with the flight of an Israeli drone and an Israeli warplane over the border area with Syria.

According to the SOHR, the explosion was caused by a direct Israeli bombardment, after bombing the occupied Golan with a barrage of missiles, which the Observatory said it was by a group affiliated with the Lebanese Hezbollah.

Since the beginning of 2023, the Observatory has counted 66 times, during which Israel has targeted Syrian territory, 45 of which were air strikes and 21 ground strikes. These strikes resulted in the destruction of about 130 targets, including weapons and ammunition depots, headquarters, centers, and vehicles.

These strikes caused the death of 114 soldiers, in addition to wounding 130 others with varying injuries.
