Israeli media reported today, Saturday, that the Israeli army sent significant military reinforcements to its northern border with Syria, preparing for any potential developments.

This came after Israel launched a large-scale attack on Iran at dawn yesterday, Friday, under the name "Rising Lion," during which it bombed nuclear facilities and missile bases in various areas, in addition to assassinating prominent military commanders and nuclear scientists.

Israeli media stated that the army has carried out a wide mobilization among reserve forces, noting the call-up of reserve battalions "Iron Fist" (205) and "Etzioni" (6), as a step to prepare the reserve force for any possible scenario on the northern front.

They also pointed out that several reserve battalions were deployed, and units for protection and civil defense were reinforced in Israeli communities adjacent to the borders with Lebanon and Syria.

These measures were taken in anticipation of any reaction from Hezbollah or Tehran’s regional allies, amid the ongoing confrontations between Israel and Iran.
