Over the past few hours, the southern Quneitra countryside has witnessed repeated Israeli incursions, raising concerns among local residents.

An Israeli military force consisting of three Hummer vehicles and two Hilux vehicles entered the town of Buraiqa.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the force set up a checkpoint near the town's security detachment and stopped a number of passing civilians. They were searched and photographed along with their ID cards, before withdrawing shortly thereafter.

This action comes just one day after a similar operation in the town of Al-Ajraf in the Quneitra countryside. An Israeli force consisting of four Hummer vehicles stormed and searched several homes before establishing a military checkpoint around the town.

The Syrian Observatory confirmed that the incursions occurred suddenly and created a state of tension and fear among residents, who expressed their dissatisfaction with the recurrence of such violations of the region's sovereignty and the sanctity of homes. There was no information about any arrests.
