Interim Government militants declare Khaled Fajr Hospital military target

The militants identified several points as military targets, including vital facilities and civilian homes, among them Khaled Fajr Hospital, which they shelled four times yesterday, Thursday, and again today.

Aleppo Internal Security Forces stated in a brief statement:

“The so-called ‘Ministry of Defense’ in the Damascus government published a new map claiming to show locations to be shelled in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo, including the civilian Khaled Fajr Hospital, which has been hit by four consecutive artillery strikes since yesterday.

Including a civilian medical facility on a declared target map constitutes clear and documented evidence of premeditated criminal intent. It is a fully formed war crime and a blatant violation of international humanitarian law, which prohibits targeting medical facilities under any pretext.

Therefore, we affirm that this map itself represents a clear indictment of the Provisional Government and its affiliates. We hold them fully and directly responsible for any harm to civilians, medical facilities, or civilian infrastructure. This dangerous declaration is presented to public opinion and international and human rights institutions as documented legal evidence of planned massacres and serious violations against civilians.”
