Aleppo Hospital Calls for Urgent International Protection

Dr. Walat Mamo, a physician at Khaled Fajr Hospital in the besieged Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo, issued an urgent appeal calling for an immediate halt to attacks against civilians and the hospital, urging international organizations to intervene to protect residents.

Dr. Walat Mamo, a doctor at Khaled Fajr Hospital in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo, confirmed that the hospital has been shelled five times since yesterday. He stressed the urgent need to stop attacks against civilians and the hospital, calling on international organizations to intervene to protect the population.

The doctor issued an urgent appeal to save the hospital, the wounded, the medical staff, and all workers inside it.

Earlier today, mercenaries of the interim government declared Khaled Fajr Hospital—after it had been targeted four consecutive times—a military target, which constitutes clear and documented evidence of premeditated criminal intent.

A short while ago, our correspondent from the neighborhood reported that the hospital was subjected to another round of shelling.
