Injuries reported in Interim Govt. Forces’ targeting of Sweida city

A number of civilians from Sweida were injured as a result of attacks carried out by interim government forces on several axes of the city from their positions in Tal Kanaker and Tal Hadid, amid continued escalation in the area.

ANHA correspondent in Sweida reported a new violation of the ceasefire agreement by interim government forces, as escalation continues in the area.

According to available information, the attacks targeted several axes of Sweida city from Tal Kanaker and Tal Hadid, which are under the control of interim government forces, resulting in injuries to four civilians. The injured were identified as: Kinan Adel Al-Badeeish, Sami Salman Allameh, Majd Firas Jazan, and Haitham Hani Mazhar.

The city of Sweida and its countryside have witnessed repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement by interim government forces and affiliated armed groups since last July. These violations have included infiltration attempts into safe villages and towns, as well as attacks using heavy weapons, drones, and mortar shells, in addition to targeting civilians along international highways.
