The Damascus government forces and the so-called "National Defense" renewed their shelling today on the towns of the Al-Furat city in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor Canton using artillery and mortar shells, causing dozens of civilian injuries, including children and women.

ANHA correspondent from the region reported that there are 14 injured due to the shelling in the town of Abu Hamam, and she was able to obtain the names of five of them, who were injured in the Al-Muh area of Abu Hamam. They are: Maher Al-Ma'rouf, Hamid Al-Khalif Al-Najm, Ammar Al-Saleh Al-Ali and his family, Muhammad Al-Amin Al-Saleh, and the young man Ammar Saleh Al-Ahmad, who were transferred to hospitals in Deir ez-Zor Canton. It was confirmed that the condition of two of them is critical.

She mentioned that there are many injuries among civilians in the towns of Abu Hamam and Al-Kashkiyah, and the Civil Defense teams have not been able to reach them yet due to the ongoing shelling.
