The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that 3 civilians were injured by Israeli forces that had earlier penetrated and set up a temporary checkpoint near the entrance of Khan Arnabah town in the Quneitra countryside.

According to the information, some citizens opposed to the Israeli incursions into Syrian territory gathered, which was met with gunfire. Meanwhile, those forces left the checkpoint shortly after it was set up, and the injured citizens were transferred to the Golan National Hospital for treatment, coinciding with tension at the town's entrance following the incident.

Israeli forces had advanced into the Khan Arnabah area and set up a checkpoint on the Jbata al-Khashab – Khan Arnabah road, another checkpoint on the Jba – Khan Arnabah road, and a checkpoint on the Damascus – Khan Arnabah road, where they also completely blocked the road for civilians and vehicles.
