Hundreds in Ain Issa demonstrate against Turkish attacks on region

Today, hundreds of people from Ain Issa district went out in a massive demonstration denouncing the Turkish aggressive attacks on the NE Syria, stressing that it will not break their resistance.

Today, hundreds of people from Ain Issa district and its affiliated villages gathered in front of the Grand Mosque, and held a massive demonstration denouncing Turkey’s targeting of public facilities and infrastructure in the NE Syria.

The demonstrators carried banners reading, “Turkish threats increase our determination, resistance, and steadfastness. We condemn and denounce the barbaric Turkish attacks on NE Syria,” flags of the Syrian Democratic Forces, and pictures of leader Ocalan, amidst chanting slogans denouncing the Turkish attacks and saluting the forces defending the region, “No to striking the infrastructure.” “Long live the resistance of the people, long live the SDF.”

Sheikh Muhammad al-Hamidi, member of the religious institution in the Ain Issa district, gave a speech in which he denounced the aggressive Turkish attacks on the NE Syria and its attacks on the infrastructure, such as electricity and oil stations, and the citizens’ livelihoods, including grain stores, mills, and other sources of livelihood.

Meanwhile, the co-chairman of the Democratic Union Party of Girê Spi, Bervan Ismail, stressed the option of resistance and confronting the plans of the “Turkish occupier who is greedy for our country’s wealth.”

Sheikh Ali al-Ali, sheikh of the Tay tribe, saluted the resistance of the people of Ain Issa and the Syrian Democratic Forces in the face of the Turkish barbaric attacks, and stressed the tribes’ stand and support for this resistance in the face of the occupier’s ambitions.

The demonstration ended with chanting, "Long live the people's resistance, long live the SDF resistance."
