Humanitarian aid from people of Northern Kurdistan arrives in Kobani

A humanitarian aid convoy provided by residents of Northern Kurdistan has arrived in the city of Kobani after entering through the Azaz crossing and being transported by the Syrian Red Crescent.

A short while ago, a humanitarian aid convoy collected under the name “Protection and Solidarity Platform in the City of Amed” arrived in Kobani via the Azaz border crossing. The shipment was transported by the Syrian Red Crescent.

The convoy comprised 17 trucks loaded with food supplies and essential necessities, as part of a solidarity campaign aimed at supporting residents amid the difficult conditions facing the region.

Accompanying the convoy were the Deputy Head of the Chamber of Commerce, Erdal Afshar, and lawyer Reyhan Gogek, who affirmed that the initiative reflects Kurdish unity and inter-regional cooperation in addressing humanitarian challenges.

The city of Kobani has been under a stringent siege for 23 days, imposed by forces affiliated with the Interim Government in Syria.
