In response to the urgent need for humanitarian relief and essential aid for the people of the Syrian coast, who have suffered from massacres and human rights violations, the Kurdish Red Crescent, in coordination with the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, has dispatched the first humanitarian aid convoy to the region.

The convoy, consisting of 15 trucks from Qamishli and Hasaka, arrived in Raqqa, where it was joined by five additional trucks carrying food and logistical supplies. The convoy has now departed the region via the Tabqa border crossing, heading towards Salamiyah before reaching the coastal areas of Syria.

This initiative is part of broader efforts to strengthen solidarity among all components of the nation.

According to the Kurdish Red Crescent, the aid will be distributed by civil society organizations operating in the Syrian coast, under the supervision and coordination of Kurdish Red Crescent representatives.
