HPG destroy Turkish occupation surveillance system in Mediya Defense areas
The People Defense Forces carried out 2 operations against the Turkish occupation army in the defense areas, which resulted in the destruction of a surveillance camera system. The occupation forces also bombed the defense areas 39 times via warplanes.
Today, the Media Center of the People Defense Forces issued a statement to public opinion regarding the Turkish attacks and the resistance shown by male and female fighters of the HPG and the Women’s Protection Units - Star.

Xakurk
On May 8, at 11:30, our forces targeted the Turkish occupation army on Martyr Axîn Hill with heavy weapons, and following this operation, the occupation army bombed Kolet Square with a bomb-laden drone.
In the Martyr Dalil area, west of Zap:
On May 9, at 08:25, our forces carried out a sniper operation against the Turkish occupation army in the Resistance Square in Amadiyah Hill, which resulted in the destruction of the enemy’s surveillance camera system.
Turkish occupation army attacks:
On May 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, Turkish warplanes bombed 11 times Diraş Square, Zankel Hill, Meruk, Rashid Hill, Haft Tabagh in the Gari region, 9 times the Resistance Square in Seri Matina, Derkel, Baz, Beyşil and Şilazeh in the Matina region, 5 times Resistance Square in the Bahar Hill area in the Martyr Dalil area west of Zap 7 times, Kolet, Lolan and Senin Square in the Xakurk area 7 times, Resistance Square in the Martyr Ibrahim area in the Zap 5 times and 5 times the Seli, Kozin and Zirkal squares in the Qandil region, meaning the aforementioned areas were bombed a total of 39 times.
On May 6, 8, and 10, Turkish helicopters bombed the resistance squares of Qasruk, Derkel, Kulka, and Şilazeh in the Matina region.
