Hasakah Governor Nour al-Din Ahmed discussed with a representative of Doctors Without Borders (MSF) ways to enhance cooperation in order to improve the response to humanitarian and health needs across the governorate.

HASAKAH 

Today, Governor Nour al-Din Ahmed received MSF representative in Hasakah, Monika Slosarska, along with her accompanying delegation, to review the humanitarian and medical work being carried out by the organization in the governorate.

The meeting addressed the services provided by the organization to local residents, as well as ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination with relevant authorities to improve the response to humanitarian and health needs in various areas of the governorate.

The governor stressed the importance of the role played by humanitarian organizations in supporting the service sector and highlighted the need to direct efforts toward meeting citizens’ needs and enhancing essential services, particularly healthcare services.

For her part, the MSF representative presented the organization’s main programs and projects being implemented in the governorate, in addition to the challenges facing its operations.

She reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to continuing the provision of humanitarian and medical services within the limits of available resources.
