In the Rukn al-Din neighborhood of Damascus, protesters raised slogans condemning the continued disregard for the fate of their forcibly disappeared children, calling for the revelation of their whereabouts and the guarantee of their legal and humanitarian rights. They also denounced attempts to rehabilitate some elements loyal to the Ba’athist regime, known as "shabiha," within state institutions, asserting that such actions fuel public anger.

In Hama, a large demonstration took place in al-Asi Square, demanding the release of detainees who have faced severe violations, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The protests in Hama also carried clear demands for accountability for those involved in acts of repression and torture, emphasizing that true peace cannot be achieved without justice and accountability. They called for immediate steps to end the arbitrariness and corruption that have affected various components of Syrian society.

Protesters in both cities stressed that their demands are not personal but represent the collective demands of thousands of families eagerly awaiting news of their loved ones, amid deliberate government neglect of the issue of the missing and detained.
