The Girê Spi Council condemned the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the region, and the international silence regarding them.

This morning, the Turkish occupation state bombed service facilities and Internal Security Forces checkpoints in Ain Issa, with the aim of harming the lives and livelihoods of the citizens of the region.

The Girê Spi Council made a statement today, to the public opinion, which was read by the co-chair of the Democratic Union Party’s office in Girê Spi, Sabry Nabo, in the presence of the co-chair of the council and the workers in its committees.

The statement condemned: “Turkish barbarism and its aggressive operations aimed at harming the lives and livelihoods of the citizens of the region, including service facilities (electricity, water, etc.).

And denounced "the international silence regarding these attacks that targeted the entrance checkpoint to the district, which is located near the Russian base on its eastern side."

The Girê Spi Council's statement confirmed that the attacks of the Turkish occupation will only increase their determination, resistance and steadfastness in their land.

Also called on international powers to assume their responsibilities regarding the Turkish attacks that target people and quarantine, and harm service facilities and the livelihood of citizens there.

This morning, the Turkish occupation targeted, with a drone, the Internal Security Forces checkpoint and the power station in the Ain Issa district, in addition to bombing the village of Al-Khalidiya in the western countryside of the district. The bombing of the power station led to a power outage.
