Autonomous Administration of Jazera Canton: Turkish attacks put service institutions out of service

The Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Jazera Canton explained that the recent Turkish attacks put several service institutions out of service, and called on the components of NE Syria to strengthen the protection system to confront the war of extermination.

Today, the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous -Administration of Jazera Canton made a statement to public opinion, which was read in front of the Muhammad Sheikho Center in the city of Qamishlo, in the presence of the co-chairs of the bodies and offices of the Democratic Autonomous-Administration, by the co-chair of the Executive Council, Talaat Yunus, and the co-chair of the Education Body, Gulistan Ismail.

The statement reads: “In continuation of the war of genocide and terrorism pursued by the Turkish occupation state against our regions in the NE Syria region, its warplanes bombed on Friday and Saturday night the infrastructure and service and vital facilities in the countryside of Derik, Tirbespiye, Rimelan, and Çil Agha, and this morning in Ain Issa.”

The statement read that these attacks “led to the outage of these institutions that provide water, energy, and agricultural services to the entire region.”

The statement considered the aggressive and barbaric practices a violation of all international laws and conventions and undermining efforts to combat terrorism and achieve stability.

The statement stressed: "These attacks and hostile policies will not discourage the determination of our people, with all its components, to move forward through their democratic project to resist occupation and terrorism, protect and defend their gains, and thwart plans and policies of displacement and demographic change."

The statement condemned: “These attacks that target the security of our regions,” calling on: “All active powers in Syria, the international community, and human rights and humanitarian organizations to carry out their duties and take deterrent measures to prevent the Turkish occupation state from continuing its terrorism, to stop its aggression, and to hold it accountable for its crimes that amount to war crimes against humanity.”

And also called: “Our people, with all its components, to develop a system of self-protection, rally around its institutions, and defend the gains, with the unity of the components of the region, they will come together, and will fail the plans and systematic wars of annihilation, and the will of the peoples and the democratic project will be victorious.”
