According to a statement issued today by the Media Center of the Security Forces, the operation was conducted by the special H.A.T forces and the Tactical Operations Teams (TOL) in the "Al-Kasrat" area south of Raqqa city. The operation resulted in the detention of several ISIS members and the seizure of weapons and equipment.

The raid followed the foiling of a planned suicide attack by one of the ISIS cells. The forces targeted locations where active members of the organization were hiding, preparing to carry out attacks, assassinations, and bombings.

The Security Forces confirmed that the operation was meticulously planned and led to the capture of five terrorists who posed a direct threat to the security and stability of the region, exploiting the security vacuum in other parts of Syria.

Seized items included:

3 Kalashnikov rifles

2 hunting rifles

1 modified pistol

380 Kalashnikov rounds with 5 magazines

Various technical equipment (computers, internet devices, mobile phones, camera)

The Security Forces remain committed to uprooting ISIS remnants, pursuing its cells wherever they are, cutting off their funding, and supporting regional security and stability to safeguard the lives of local residents.
