For the third day in a row, agricultural areas west of Tel Tamer have witnessed new fires in the vicinity of the occupied villages of Al-Aziziyah and Al-Qasimiyah. The Turkish base stationed in Al-Aziziyah ignited the fires, causing them to spread to surrounding farmland.

According to field sources, wind, high temperatures, and dry vegetation have contributed to the rapid spread of the fires, increasing the risk to nearby farmland and residential areas.

In this context, emergency teams in the city of Tal Tamr declared a state of alert, in coordination with local residents, to monitor the spread of the fires and intervene immediately should they approach villages or agricultural fields, amidst ongoing efforts to contain the blaze and minimize losses.

These recurring fires come at a time when the region is already suffering from increasing losses in agricultural crops, further burdening local residents and threatening the current agricultural season.
