After decades of tyranny and injustice, under the pressure of suppressing freedoms and silencing mouths, Syria woke up on the morning of 12/8/2024 to the dawn of freedom towards a new world.

A historic moment that the Syrian people have long been eagerly waiting for, as a dark page in the history of the homeland was turned, to open the doors of hope wide open.

Overwhelming joy spreads across the country, eyes overflow with tears, and souls flutter with a dream: a Syria where there is no place for tyranny or injustice.

Today, Syria emerges from the shadows of the heavy past into the light of the future, to begin a new journey of freedom and dignity, and the Syrian people regain their place among nations.

The transitional phase.. Challenges and difficulties

The transitional phase is usually full of challenges, turmoil and chaos, and this is normal in every similar historical phase, especially when the people emerge from the shackles of tyranny, and is tainted with overlapping fears and hopes, where differences arise that may threaten the path of change if they are not dealt with carefully.

Challenges such as political divisions and security chaos are only part of the transformation process, but they require complete vigilance and wisdom in making decisions.

The current situation requires unity among all political and social forces that believe in a political solution to the Syrian crisis, to ensure the stability of the phase. This is the most appropriate time to unify efforts and close ranks away from personal interests to achieve a greater goal: building a free and prosperous Syria.

The New Covenant: Fulfilling Promises and Aspirations

The new covenant must fulfill its promises and meet the aspirations of the fighters who paid the price of freedom with their nerves, blood, and souls. These heroes who resisted tyranny must find in the new covenant a true expression of their hopes.

This historic entitlement must be a starting point for building a better future for all, in which human beings are respected and basic rights are guaranteed. The new covenant must avoid excluding any honest political force seeking to build a just and strong Syria.

At this historical juncture, there is no room for revenge or closing doors to any party that wishes to seriously contribute to building the nation. Only through true partnership and cooperation between all political forces, regardless of their different orientations, can we build the Syria we aspire to; a safe, stable, and strong Syria.

Beware of opportunists and build the future

It is very natural for some opportunists to ride the wave of transformations that Syria is witnessing, as they are accustomed to climbing the circumstances to serve their personal interests. These people represent a real danger to the process of change, and we must be wary of them and not allow them to infiltrate decision-making positions.

The new era must choose those with competence, skill and good reputation to assume key positions in the state.

Syria is full of honorable and conscientious people who can lead the country towards success and prosperity. These are the ones who will carry the banner of real change, far from personal and factional interests.

Hope for the Future

Despite the challenges we face in this transitional phase, hope remains our driving force towards the future. The Syrian people, who have endured the most difficult circumstances, are capable of rebuilding their homeland.

The new era, no matter how difficult, holds within it opportunities to redraw the features of a free, just and prosperous Syria. With unity, hard work, and faith in the ability to change, we will be able to overcome this phase and carry Syria to a bright future that reflects the hopes and sacrifices of its people.

The future is before us and it is our hands that will shape its features. The new free Syria has begun its dawn, and the future belongs to us, all of us.
