Farhad Shami: Any reports outside meeting not reflect talks

Farhad Shami, Director of the Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), confirmed that anything currently being circulated outside the framework of the meeting does not reflect what actually took place, stressing that details and results will be announced soon.

Shami noted that “the discussions are being conducted on a professional and responsible basis, ensuring well-considered outcomes that place peace and stability at the forefront of priorities.”

Shami said that the meeting, which brought together a delegation of SDF leaders with officials from Syria’s transitional government, was part of talks related to military integration.

He added: “Our forces affirm that the details and results will be officially announced once consultations are completed, and that what is currently being circulated outside this framework does not reflect the course of the meeting.”

He continued: “The discussions are conducted in a professional and responsible manner, ensuring carefully studied results that prioritize peace and stability.”

Previously, the SDF leadership held talks with officials from the transitional government regarding the military integration process, with the participation of the commander of the Solid Resolve Forces.

The delegation included SDF General Commander Mazloum Abdi, SDF General Command member Suzdar Haji, and SDF General Command member Sibaan Hamo.
