The family of Leader Abdullah Ocalan has submitted a new request to the Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor in Bursa, Turkey, and to the administration of Imrali Prison to meet with him.

The family of Leader Abdullah Ocalan has submitted a new request to the Turkish Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Imrali Prison Administration to be allowed to visit him.
Similarly, the families of other detainees in Imrali, among them Amina Kunar, Polat Yildirim, and Meliha Çetin, have submitted similar requests to the relevant authorities in hopes of securing a chance to visit their imprisoned relatives.
One of Leader Abdullah Ocalan’s lawyers, Newroz Uysal Aslan, previously told ANHA agency that “the isolation regime in Imrali remains unchanged, despite the historic call made by Leader Ocalan on February 27,” noting that visits are still banned except for the meetings conducted by the (DEM) Party.
