An explosion left over from the war resulted in the injury and loss of 19 olive harvest workers west of Manbij.

ANHA correspondents from the city of Manbij reported that an explosion occurred this morning while a group of residents were harvesting the olive season in the village of Al-Yalanli, west of the city of Manbij, which led to the injury and loss of 19 people.

According to preliminary information, and quoting eyewitnesses, the incident was the result of the explosion of an old war remnant in the olive field.

17 wounded people were transferred to Barkal Hospital in Manbij to receive treatment, in addition to the bodies of the elderly Samia Akrash and Zaeem Abd al-Hussein, who lost their lives, amid information about the presence of critical conditions among the injured.

ANHA correspondents obtained the names of the injured, quoting hospital records, and they are: “Dandi Hussein, Alia Al-Ahmad, Nisreen Al-Hussein, Hajja Raed, Muhammad Hussein Al-Hussein, Kawthar Mustafa Al-Akrash, Batoul Akrash Al-Mustafa, Mervat Zaeem Al-Hussein, Fatima, Houria Abdel-Hussein, Najah Hussein Al-Akrash, Raghad Hussein Abd al-Hussein, Adnan Mustafa, Sabah Abd al-Hussein, Haifa Ahmed Al-Hussein, Nour Raed Abd al-Hussein, Fattem.
