Yesterday, the city of Raqqa, at the invitation of the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, the Syrian Lawyers Initiative to Defend Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and the Doctors Union, witnessed the activities of the first conference of the Syrian initiative, at Al-Sharq University in the city, under the slogan (Violating international law in the case of Leader Abdullah Ocalan and the right to justice).

The co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Hussein Al-Othman, praised the importance of holding the first conference of the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Hussein Othman emphasized: “The launch of this conference has a great impact, especially since the city of Raqqa is one of the cities that was subjected to injustice by ISIS mercenaries .”

Othman explained: “After Raqqa gained its freedom, we want to send a message to the whole world so that they know the meaning of freedom, and from this logic, this conference was held in the city of Raqqa, as an expression of the message that the people of Raqqa and the participants in the conference want to deliver to the world in order to demand the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan.” ".

Othman added, "The conference was a message to all countries of the world, especially countries that uphold human rights in light of the human rights violations committed by the Turkish occupation state in the case of the arrest of leader Abdullah Ocalan."

Othman condemned the violations of the Turkish authorities: “The Turkish occupation state is violating human rights, depriving the leader Abdullah Ocalan of his most basic rights."
