ANHA agency met with Evin Issa, a citizen who was run over by a Russian armored vehicle, this morning, and who is receiving treatment at Dêrik National Hospital as a result of fractures and wounds to her feet.

Evin confirmed that they will continue to protest the conduct of joint Russian-Turkish patrols in their areas, noting that this is due to Russia's failure to shoulder its responsibilities, and the continuation of Turkish attacks on the NE Syria region.

She explained that the reason for their protest today came as a refusal to conduct joint patrols with the Turkish occupation state, which continues its violations and attacks on the areas of the NE Syria region.

Instead of assuming its responsibility to stop the attacks, Russia has intimidated and run over residents with its armored vehicles.

Evin Issa (31 years old), a mother of 4 children from the village of Dêrna Aghê in the city of Çil Agha in the Jazera Canton, was run over this morning by a Russian armored vehicle while protesting with the villagers against the conduct of a joint military patrol between Russia and Turkey by force.
