A car exploded due to a mine planted inside it in the city of Qamishli, on August 28, resulting in the martyrdom of the mother Khalida Muhammad Sharif and her son Hijar Suleiman. A Turkish occupation drone also targeted the city of Amuda last Thursday, leading to the martyrdom of the citizen Hani Khalaf al-Khalaf and the injury of two others, which sparked reactions condemning these attacks.

Raqqa

The Women's Council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) in Raqqa canton issued a statement, in the presence of members of the women's councils of the political parties, the statement and Development Party, the Kurdistan Brotherhood Party, the Modernity and Democracy Party for Syria, the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Party, the Democratic Green Party, the Kurdish Left Party in Syria, the Future Syria Party, the Zenobia Women's Gathering, the Syrian Democratic Council, and the Green Idlib Council.

The statement was delivered in front of the Democratic Union Party building in Raqqa by the spokeswoman for the Women's Council of the Democratic Union Party, Fatima Khalil.

The statement condemned the attacks of the Turkish occupation on the region, and stressed that "the Turkish occupation state has been trying since the beginning of the Syrian crisis to achieve its colonial dreams and restore Ottomanism; therefore, it targets the Syrian people in general and the Kurdish people in particular through its drones to undermine their will and democratic struggle, and to show its deep hatred for them."

The statement stressed, "We will continue on the path of a peaceful, democratic political solution, and at the same time we hold all international powers before a moral and humanitarian responsibility, and we call on the UN Security Council to take a strict decision to prevent the Turkish government from launching attacks on the region."

Tabqa

The Martyrs' Families Council in Tabqa canton also issued a statement, which was read in Martyrs' Square by the co-chair of the council, Hind Al-Khalil, in the presence of the martyrs' families, members of the Martyrs' Families Council, Mothers of Peace, and the Zenobia Women's Gathering Council in Tabqa canton.

The statement stressed, "With the logic of genocide, the fascist Turkish state is waging its war against our people, and every time it tries to undermine their resolve, and stand against their efforts to fight terrorism and advance a more secure and stable society within the framework of the unity of peoples."

The statement stressed, "Our martyred sons gave their lives for the sake of this land and to protect the region's gains, and we are following in their footsteps."

The people of Ain Issa denounce the targeting of the treachery agendas of the fighter Khalida and her son.

In the context, the people of Ain Issa and the displaced people of the occupied city of Gire Spi went out in a demonstration that started from the Military Police roundabout, towards the Martyr Judy roundabout, while the participants carried a banner is written "With the will of the free woman we end the policies of genocide and occupation", and pictures of the martyrs, Mother Khalida and the journalists Hiro Baha al-Din and Gulistan Tara, and chanted "With our souls and blood we will redeem you, martyr", "Long live the resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces",

Upon their arrival, they stood for a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, then the administrator of the Kongra Star, Ruqayya Mohammad, delivered a speech in which she denounced the continued targeting of the struggling women by the Turkish occupier and its agendas who defend and struggle according to the thought and approach of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, in order to liberate their gender and free them from the clutches of slavery.

She pledged to follow in the footsteps of the revolutionary martyrs until victory is achieved.

The demonstration ended with chanting "With our souls and blood we will redeem you, martyr.
