Events Committee in Euphrates announces location of Kobani Nowroz celebration
The Events Committee in the Euphrates District announced its series of events on the occasion of Newroz. It also announced the location of the central Newroz celebration on March 21 in the Euphrates District.
With the start of the Newroz 2024 celebrations in the NE Syria, the Events Committee in the Euphrates Canton announced the program of Newroz celebrations for this year, and confirmed that the activities for celebrating Newroz and lighting the Newroz flame will be organized in all areas on a daily basis.
Regarding it, Majda Hassoun, a member of the Events Committee in the Euphrates Canton, said, “Nowroz 2024 will be celebrated and will spread throughout the Euphrates Canton on a daily basis, but the central celebration will be on March 21 in the city of Kobani.”
Majda noted that many artistic groups will participate in the Nowroz celebration this year, which is scheduled to start at 10:00.
The Democratic Autonomous Administration of the Euphrates Canton lit the flame of Nowroz this morning, and congratulated all the peoples of Kurdistan on this occasion, through a statement made in front of the building of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of the Euphrates Canton.
