The EFFP has launched a new campaign under the title "I Want to Meet Abdullah Ocalan", aimed at securing his physical freedom. The leader has been imprisoned on Imrali Island in Turkey for over two decades.

In a statement published on its website, the forum said the campaign seeks to enable leader Abdullah Ocalan to share his political and social vision with Turkish and international society, as part of his ongoing pursuit of peace in Turkey and the region.

 The statement read:

"The restrictions preventing Ocalan from sharing his ideas about the future of Turkey, Kurdistan, the Middle East, and the world must be lifted. We want to meet him, ask him our questions, and listen to his answers."

The forum called on citizens and supporters to send emails and official requests to the Turkish Ministry of Justice, demanding permission to visit him. It also encouraged the use of the hashtag #VisitOcalan across virtual social media platforms to pressure the authorities.

Several political organizations, including the Left Bloc in the European Parliament, are supporting the campaign.
