Euphrates residents emphasize struggle for Leader's physical freedom

The people of the Euphrates Canton took to the streets in a massive march to condemn the system of torture and genocide imposed on Leader Abdullah Ocalan in Imrali prison and to demand his physical freedom.

In protest against the system of torture and genocide imposed on Leader Abdullah Ocalan in Imrali prison and to demand his physical freedom, the people of the Euphrates Canton held a massive march under the slogan "Physical freedom for Leader Apo is a guarantee for a democratic society."

The march started from the Free Women's Square in Kobani, heading towards Peace Square. Upon arrival, the participants observed a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs' souls. Then, Mustafa Ito, co-chair of the Martyrs' Families Council in the Euphrates Canton, delivered a speech in which he emphasized that "The Middle East is going through a sensitive phase, and only Leader Abdullah Ocalan can guide this phase to safety, because he resists for the freedom of all oppressed peoples. Therefore, we must hold on to his thoughts and philosophy and continue the struggle to achieve his physical freedom."

The march concluded with the participants chanting, "There is no life without the Leader."
