Elham Ahmed, co-chair of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Autonomous Administration, stated that a sustainable political process in Syria should ensure a responsible dialogue that upholds the rights of all Syrians and lays the groundwork for a comprehensive solution preserving the country’s unity.

In a post on X, she explained: “Our meeting today with the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, in the presence of General Mazloum Abdi and Syrian Foreign Minister Mr. Asaad al-Shaibani, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, reflects the importance of international coordination in supporting stability in Syria.”

She added, “Any sustainable political path must be based on responsible dialogue, guarantee the rights of all Syrians, and promote partnership, preserving the country’s unity and establishing a comprehensive political solution.”

She concluded: “We continue our work through diplomacy and understanding, guided by our national responsibility and the sacrifices of our people, to achieve a just peace and a secure future for Syria.”
