Military reinforcements from the Eighth Brigade arrived in the vicinity of the town of Umm Walad in the eastern countryside of Daraa, to launch an attack on the town, coinciding with the demands of the people to eliminate the group of Muhammad al-Rifai, known as “Abu Ali al-Laham,” which is accused of carrying out assassinations and kidnappings in the Daraa countryside, on behalf of the Damascus forces.
