Reactions continue to pour in from international figures, political movements, and forces worldwide in support of the  Abdullah Ocalan’s historic call.

Historic call to change face of region

Speaking to ANHA agency, Egyptian researcher in international relations Islam Al-Mansi commented on this historic call, saying:

"This is a historic call, and if it is heeded, it could change the face of the region for the better. It is highly ambitious, and if turned into practical reality, it would solve many regional issues and address problems affecting tens of millions of people—not just Kurds, but all the peoples of the region."

He explained, "This call came after extensive study by a great and influential leader like Abdullah Ocalan, who is qualified to play this significant historic role. He can resolve many problems caused by extremist nationalist tendencies."

Beacon to end decades of intolerance, racism

Al-Mansi spoke about the timing and significance of this call, stating:

"The time has come for this call to be embraced. I believe these historical moments may be the most appropriate time, as all major regional players appear ready for it. There is willingness and receptiveness within Turkey and among most of the other countries with a significant Kurdish presence. This call will serve as a beacon for resolving ethnic conflicts and ending decades of intolerance and racism against the Kurds."

He added, "The leader’s call, along with previous preparations and appeals within Turkey, signals that the time has come to turn the page on a bloody and racist past. The peoples of the region have suffered from all forms of violence and intimidation, which have also been exploited for foreign intervention and have weakened regional states, bringing disaster upon their populations."

Leader Ocalan’s call paves way for bright future

Al-Mansi stressed that, "It is time for the Kurds to reclaim their historical and usurped rights as an integral part of this region and its indigenous peoples. They are neither outsiders nor newcomers, nor are they lesser than anyone else. I believe that if this call is heeded and implemented by all parties, it will mark the beginning of justice, equality, and the rejection of racial discrimination—which has only ever resulted in rivers of blood, tens of thousands of deaths, and millions of victims at all levels."

He concluded by saying: "If this historic call is truly answered, we may witness a new bright dawn for the region, addressing its deep wounds caused by past misguided policies. Now is the time to rectify all of this."
