Drones target areas in Idlib, Aleppo countryside

Ten drones belonging to the Damascus government forces have struck areas in the countryside of Aleppo and Idlib.

The ten "FPV" suicide drones launched by the Damascus government targeted sites in the villages of Kafr Nouran, Al-Asous, and the vicinity of Darat Azza in western Aleppo countryside, as well as Maaret al-Nu'man, the Ma'arblit area, and Majdaliya in Idlib countryside, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The attacks resulted in two people being injured and caused material damage in the village of Kafr Nouran.

The artillery of the Damascus government forces also shelled the Al-Rouha and Nairab areas near Saraqeb in Idlib countryside, and Kafr Ammah in western Aleppo countryside.

Thus, the death toll from ground-targeted strikes in the so-called "de-escalation zone" since the beginning of 2024 has risen to 390, following 364 attacks, including sniper operations, clashes, targeted strikes, and suicide drones. More than 370 people, including soldiers from the Damascus government forces, Turkish-backed mercenaries, and civilians, have been injured in these attacks.
